Headcount ; Grown. Grown. Grown. Me? Almost :P Get this feeling on occasions where I'm the student (now penganggur, no longer student) among those of you who are already working. Being in this line in this country, I don't get to be one of the fresh graduates who'll face at least one anxiety/panic attacks secondary to job hunting. As much as I consider myself lucky, at times I do feel like I want to be out there applying for positions, going for interviews and not knowing where will I end up. I would very much enjoy the adventure. But then again, I am not sure of whether or not I can handle the stress and pressure. When you're standing a few inches from a boiler, u get this nice warm sensation surrounding you but imagine being in the boiler? Hot! and not in a desirable way I suppose.

So I thank Allah for being lucky and also for being just inches from the boiler.

I am praying and wishing all the best for you in the boiler.

Went for drinks with the girls last night. One thing for sure, we've grown. Past the phase not a girl not yet a woman. It has been so long since I last lost track of time. But last night I was soo surprised to see my watch strokes 1. I was like

"What? last I check it was only 11pm."

Maybe it was the crowd. Or the frequency that I get this crowd. There were Me, Maya, Sara and Basirah. We get together like, once a year? (barely la). We talked about cultures (of other parts of the world), jobs, studies other than the usual reminisce of the school days. Surrounding tables were replaced with new people and still there we were, going on and on.

....Percaya atau tidak. Boikot itu memang satu cabang aqidah. Bercakap-cakap mengenai boikot bukan semudah memandangnya atas sentimen, bukan juga semudah menentangnya dengan mengatakan ia sunnah si Abu Jahal!

.....Benar Ahmad SAW itu tidak pernah memboikot urusniaga dengan Yahudi. Tidak juga menekan-nekan ekonomi mereka. Tapi siapa kita untuk kata boikot barangan si kuffar itu bukan dari Islam?

......Ramai beralasan, tidak perlu memboikot kerana ekonomi umat Islam itu sendiri akan terganggu. Ah! Nanti tiada pula pendapatan orang Islam untuk membayar zakat atau cukai kepada sang pemerintah. Kosong pula tabungan zakat negara.

......Bukan persoalan dua tiga orang manusia jadi biul akibat diberhentikan kerja. Mana datang aulawiyyat? Melihat dua tiga orang terpaksa mencari kerja lain, atau melihat dua tiga ribu orang mati di bom bertalu-talu?

......Benar, bukanlah jatuh bangun ekonomi mereka hanya disebabkan botol-botol Coca Cola ataupun bekas-bekas plastik Starbuck. Kita akan-akan terlupa bahawa kita tidak memandang dari sudut aqidah. Kita perlu memandang bahawa, lengkapnya aqidah kita apabila kita mula mampu meninggalkan apa-apa yang ada kaitan yang jelas dengan mereka.
